We are 6 classmates from the Boronkay György High School in Vác. We are all studying computer science, so our strength is programming. Two members of the team already took part in the competition, going under the name of Centimétermérők. While that was more of a “Let's see how this works” this year our aims are higher, which has been shown already, with the qualification for the final.
Our goal with this project is to make the CanSat competition more accessible, and easy to get into. One of our approaches to this was to use a display and buttons, making its usage easier. The other important part is making the CanSat ourselves, while using as little outside help as possible. We want to show everyone that you can get far into the competition without the use of sponsors or other specialized resources.
Our best programmer. Due to already having a game developer job, he couldn't invest as much time as we had hoped, but he delivered by making a good ground station.
The backbone of the project and an experienced tinkerer. He designed the electronical parts and was also responsible for 3D printing the body of the CanSat.
Our other member responsible for the social media aspect of the project. The cameraman behind most of our videos, and the person editing them. He helped in testing the CanSat, and was our “travel coordinator”.
Math genius. He did the programming of the CanSat itself. Responsible for analyzing the measured data. He is also our driver.
Responsible for the designing, making, and of course the testing the parachute. Speaks 3 languages and wrote a big part of the English texts in the project.
One of our social media managers. Creator of this website. He also played a crucial role in the testing of our CanSat.
