On the 9th of March we went to the third CanSat meeting of this year's competition. We were tasked to find out the name of the meeting based on its acronym: MWAIN. Unfortunately we couldn’t find the right solution, which would have been “Meeting Without An Interesting Name”.
At the event different people held presentations about CanSat competition final. One of them was Detre Örs Hunor, who worked on the MIRI instrument of the James Webb telescope. Another presentation was given by the MIGSat team, who told us about their experiences at the last years final.
After this they announced the 10 teams advancing to the final and we are one of them. We are very exited and happy about having the opportunity to launch our own contraption into the air, with a real rocket. With the launch being on the 5th of April, we are getting closer and closer to this big moment.
